The following contains excerpts from a collection of remembrances of some of the long time citizens of Stanley. The Recollections, though undocumented, present each persons view, in their own narrative, of how Stanley was in days gone by. The full recollections of these and other Stanley citizens are contained in the book, "Echoes and Shadows of Two Centuries".
